Craspedia

Craspedia

Craspedia, also known as Billy Buttons or Drumstick is a native wildflower of New Zealand, Australia and Tasmania. They are available all year round. Grown in yellow, some suppliers offer dyed bloom in various colours such as red, orange, and green.

Craspedia or Drumsticks can be mixed with succulents, white daisies, and wildflowers to create a rustic bouquet. They are even perfect as a dry flower. All you must do is hung them upside down in a cool, dry place.

Billy Buttons in lavender mean admiration and solitude while white ones bring protection and signify that wishes will come true. They also symbolise good health and express the feeling that “the receiver lights up the sender’s world.”
