Gladioli

Gladioli have petals that may be frilly, ruffled, semi-ruffled or plain. Its flower sizes can be tiny as it is under 6.35 cm in diameter or gigantic as it grows over 12.7 cm. Typically, you will find the flowers on one side of the stem with a large bloom at the base.

Native to sub-Saharan Africa or mostly South Africa, Gladioli has orchid-like flowers in white, yellow, pink and lavender, to rose, burgundy, purple and even green. The flowers symbolise remembrance. It is also a way to express infatuation. Giving these flowers tells the receiver that he or she pierces the heart. These are also the flowers for showing the strength of character, faithfulness and honour.
