Magnolia

Magnolia flowers may be white, pink or purple, and its size ranges from 7 to 30 cm in diameter. Magnolias enjoy having a lot of space. They need space as wide as their height to grown in.

There are four National Magnolia Collections in the UK; Caerhays in Cornwall, Wentworth Castle in Yorkshire, Windsor Great Park in Berkshire, and Bodnant in North Wales. According to the IUCN Red List, 147 species of wild magnolias are in danger of extinction.

At weddings, magnolias can be found in bridal bouquets to represent pride, dignity, and purity. Magnolias can also signify longevity, perseverance, nobility, love for nature, feminine sweetness, and beauty.
