Muscari

Muscari

The Muscari plant is native to Europe. It is a popular plant because it is easy to grow. Commonly known as grape hyacinths, it resembles little fat bells or upside down bunches of tiny grapes. However, it gets its name Muscari because of its smell.

The grape hyacinth comes from the Lily family and grows with dark green foliage. Its flowers are striking purplish blue that grow in a cluster of about 12  to 20 cm on a long stem. Muscari is an excellent cut flower and most suitable on a rock garden. Muscari is a symbol of power, confidence, mystery and creativity.
