Sunflower

Sunflowers thrive in areas with full sun. The plant has thick, hairy, erect stems that hold the large flower head. It grows in any type of soil. Once the plant begins to grow, they can withstand drought.

The brown centre, which is called florets, is made of individual flowers within the flower. A single sunflower contains up to 2,000 seeds.

People associated with sunflowers are happy and cheerful. These people light up the room. Sunflowers symbolise adoration, dedication, and love with the purest of thoughts. These flowers also signify loyalty and longevity. Meanwhile, the sunflower’s yellow colour signifies vitality, intelligence, and happiness.
