Bromley is the principal settlement in the London Borough of Bromley, Greater London, England and is considered as one of the major metropolitan centres identified in the London Plan. The town Bromley, is first recorded in a charter of 862 as Bromleag which means ‘woodland clearing where broom grows’. Bromley, has a number of theatres and its mostly known theatre is Churchill Theatre which is located in the town centre.

A lot of people may have known Charles Darwin for his theory in Evolution, but did you know that he lived in Bromley? Yes he did, even the actors Billy Jenkins and Alex Clare lived in Bromley.
